Knox has worked in technology since 1991 and founded SmartWeb in 2001. Over more than three decades he has managed IT and security for organizations at every scale, and kept security at the center of all of it.
He also served as Chief Technology Officer of a national tax-franchise company — experience that gives SmartWeb a firsthand understanding of how accounting and tax firms actually operate, what they’re required to protect, and what they cannot afford to have go wrong. Knox leads SmartWeb from Virginia and stays personally accountable to the firms it serves.
